John Lindsey Knight

John Lindsey Knight, 55, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Wendover Hospice House, Shelby.

He was born June 22, 1968, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Johnny Knight and Katie Summitt Knight Hargett.

John loved fishing, and the outdoors. He loved his family and enjoyed attending church at the nursing home and singing gospel songs with his family and friends.

He is survived by his brother, Terry Knight (Christy); sister, Sherry Knight; and nieces and nephew, Amanda Helms, Ashley Panter, and Cody Knight.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 2:00-4:00pm, Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
