John Kent Keener, 62, of Dallas passed away June 26, 2018 at his residence.
He was born October 16, 1955, a native of Gaston County, the son of Carol Keener Cline and the late John "Pete" Walter Keener.
John attended High Shoals United Methodist Church.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Michelle Fowler Keener; son, Daniel Keener of Gastonia; daughters, Jessica Brown of Gastonia and Alysia Keener of Dallas; 8 grandchildren and nephew, Casey Evans.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Evans.
A celebration of life service officiated by the Rev. David Wyant will be held 2 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at High Shoals United Methodist Church, 114 N. Lincoln Street, High Shoals, NC.
