John Alton Carpenter Jr.

Bessemer City, NC John Alton Carpenter, Jr., 43, passed away November 13, 2012. He was born September 3, 1969, son of Patricia Diana Hall and John A. Carpenter Sr. John loved his family and friends very much. A graveside service will be held 2 pm on Saturday at Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lincolnton, officiated by Pastor Steve King. The family will receive friends 12:30 -1:30 pm prior to the graveside service at the Bethel Lutheran Church. In addition to his paarents he is survived by: sister, Sherian Grindstaff; special nephew, Mark Haas; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, 509 Lutheran Church Rd., Lincolnton, NC 28093. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
