John Edward Bowen, 71, of Bessemer City, passed away on March 24, 2021, at his home.
He was born November 8, 1949, in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Johnny Bowen and Naomi Stegall Bowen.
John was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He always put others first.
He was retired from Roland Black Heating and Air.
All services will be private.
John is survived by his loving wife Rose Lee Stevens Bowen; son , John David Bowen and wife Lara, Dana Edward Bowen and wife Brooke; grandchildren, Courtney Tatum (Cam), Dana Bowen, Kage Bowen, Channing Bowen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Hospice of Lincoln 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
