John Joseph Andrews

Gastonia, NC - John Joseph Andrews, 65, passed away January 15, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born November 11, 1948 in Durham, NC son of the late Nathan O. and Susan Grant Andrews. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Jean Andrews Monteith and nephew, Steven Andrew Monteith. A celebration of life service will be held at Patterson Grove Baptist Church Family Life Center, at 4:00- 6:00 pm on Saturday. He is survived by: his significant other, Patricia Wilson of the home; sister, Judith Andrews of Gastonia; cousin, Jack Spady of Gastonia; step-daughters, Beverly Walton of Kentucky, Shannon Wilson of Gastonia, step-grandchildren, Meghan, Natalie, Jacob, Joshua Walton of KY, Jimmy Lynn, Kaitlyn, and Michael Price of Gastonia. John worked for 30 years in the US Post Office in Dallas, NC. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
