Joe Phillips

Joe Phillips 59, of Kings Mountain, passed away on December 11, 2020, at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby.

He was born June 10, 1961, in Cherokee County, SC, son of the late Lotta McMurray Phillips.

He was employed with Ronald's Garage in Kings Mountain.

Joe was a member of the Gold Wing Association and loved to ride motorcycles.

He was just "Joe" a simple, humble, and loving man.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Mike Rice.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of over 16 years, Karen Phillips; stepson, Calvin Thomas; stepdaughters, Angela Svetlick and husband Chris, Lori Locke-Bohannon and husband Pat; brothers, Robert Dean "Butch" Phillips and wife Scarlett, Richard Allen Phillips and wife Brenda; sister, Jacqueline Phillips Maney; grandchildren, Paige, Marissa, Haley, and Shad.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jimmie Thomas Phillips.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
