Joe Hentschel

Joe Hentschel, 50, passed away March 23, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born, August 2, 1964 in California, the son of the late Charles and Nell Hentschel. Joe loved his family, friends, animals and the outdoors. He was owner and operator of Meineke of Gastonia and Hickory for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife of over 16 years, Amy Wuerfel Hentschel; daughter, Laci Hentschel; sister, Carla Hentschel and a host of other family and friends. A funeral service will be held 10 am Thursday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Mike Davis. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be 12 Noon Thursday at Denver United Methodist Church - 3910 US Hwy 16 Business, Denver, NC 28037. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
