Joe N. Beam

Bessemer City, NC Joe N. Beam, 86, passed away November 12, 2012, at Alexandria Place, Gastonia. He was born April 24, 1926 in Tampa, Florida, son of the late Charles F. and Clara Lineberger Beam. Mr. Beam was a member of Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church, Gastonia. He was a member of VFW Absher-Flowers Post 9337. A funeral service will be held 2pm on Thursday at Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church, Gastonia, conducted by Rev. Eric Reece. The family will receive friends 1-2 pm on Thursday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia. He is survived by: sisters and brother in-law, Lorene Mahon of Charleston, TN, Ellen and Gordon Wilson of Cary, NC; brother, Calvin Beam of Bessemer City; sister in-law, Diane Beam of Gastonia; beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: wife, Arlene Beam; brother, Albert Beam. Memorials may be made to Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1425 W.
