Joan Cook "Larice"

Joan Cook "Larice", 64, of Kings Mountain, passed away on March 8, 2016, at Kings Mountain Hospital.

She was born June 16, 1951 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Edna Revels.

Mrs. Cook was the best wife, mother, maw-maw and friend anyone could ask for.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, yard selling, and traveling when she was able to.

She attended Lighthouse Ministries in Kings Mountain.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Don McNeely.

The family will receive friends 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Lee Cook; daughter, Candy Chapman and husband Jonathan; sisters Cookie and Doodle; grandchildren Joni-Lee and husband Alec, Joseph, Blake; great- grandchildren, Kody, Logan, Niko.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by daughter, Peggy Graham; "son", Clinton Graham
