Joan C. Bynum

Bessemer City, NC Joan C. Bynum, 72, passed away April 9, 2013, at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born September 15, 1940 in Rutherford County, NC, daughter of the late Jack and Corine Calhoun. A memorial service will be held 3 pm on Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Gene Ware. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment is private. She is survived by: her son and daughter in-law, Steve and Lana Bynum; daughter and son in-law, Tina and Shannon Bolynn; brother and sister in-law, Earl and Darlene Calhoun; sister and brother in-law, Cindy and Les Dellinger; grandchildren, Heather and Haven Rudisill; great granddaughter, Ava Still; family friends, Renee Underdown, Nancy Ferguson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: brother and sister in-law, Scott and Gail Calhoun. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Gaston Hospice, P. O.
