Jo Ann Solesbee

Jo Ann Solesbee, 80, formerly of Charlotte, NC, was called to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 9, 2023, at her residence.

She was born February 20, 1942, daughter of the late Jack and Mamie Crump.

Jo Ann was a member of Temple Baptist Church, Gastonia. She spent many years working for Charlotte-Mecklenburg County Schools. In her spare time she loved baking, being active in her church, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Jack Charles Solesbee; one brother; and five sisters.

Jo Ann is survived by her sons, Greg Solesbee and wife Sherry, and Jeff Solesbee and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Jennifer Prince and husband Adrian, and Lindsey Iannotti and husband Nick; sweet great-granddaughter, Cora Prince; and three loving grand-fur babies, Rosco, Casper, and Cally.

A funeral service officiated by Pastors Scott Whitner and Don Newell, will be held 11:00am, Monday, February 13, 2023, at Temple Baptist Church - 701 Littlejohn St., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be private.
