Jo Hager Hullender

Jo Hager Hullender, 83, of Dallas formerly of Kings Mountain passed away on July 11, 2013, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1929 in Gaston County daughter of Clyde Abel Hager and Mattie Spencer Hager. Mrs. Hullender was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Kings Mountain. She was employed with Wix Filters for over 46 years. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Digby and his staff for their care of Mrs. Hullender. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at First Wesleyan Church of Kings Mountain, 505 N. Piedmont Avenue, officiated by Pastor Don Williams. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain. Mrs. Hullender is survived by: her loving husband of 65 years, Doug Hullender of the home; daughters, Sandra Hullender Mullinax and spouse Bill of Kings Mountain, Jean Hullender Robinson and spouse Tom of Gastonia; brother, Bob Hager and spouse Betty of Bessemer City; sister, Betty Hager Shull of Bessemer City; grandchildren; Dustin Mullinax, Jaime Smith and spouse Michael, Meredith Hager and spouse Dee, Matt Robinson; great grandchildern, Skylar, Ryne , Gracie and Will. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium,Gastonia.
