Jimmy Allen Pasour

May 28, 1939 — November 11, 2025

Dallas

Jimmy Allen Pasour, 86 of Dallas, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025. Born on May 28, 1939, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Jimmy lived a life that exemplified love, faith, and dedication to family and country.

Jimmy was a skilled welder in the truck manufacturing industry, where he applied his tireless work ethic and craftsmanship. His commitment to his profession was evident, but even more profound was his unwavering love for his family. He was a cherished father to his beloved daughters, whose life he enriched with his kindness, wisdom, and humor.

A Lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dallas, NC, Jimmy held his faith close to his heart. He truly loved Jesus and found great joy in being part of a community that shared his beliefs. His passion for life extended beyond his work and faith; he cherished every moment spent with his family, creating memories that will forever be treasured.

In addition to his many roles, Jimmy was an ardent patriot who proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. His love for his country was only rivaled by his passion for the simple pleasures in life, such as fishing and tending to his yard. Whether casting a line at his favorite fishing spot or nurturing his garden, Jimmy found solace and joy in nature's beauty.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, November 21, 2025, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 531 Hardin Road Dallas, officiated by Pastor John Spencer. An inurnment service will follow in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the US Army and Gaston County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service.

Family and friends are invited to gather together in remembrance, reflecting on the incredible legacy he leaves behind. In honoring his memory, we encourage all who knew him to share stories, laughs, and love, as we remember a man who truly lived life to the fullest.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Tammy Medlock (David), and Dr. Tina Smith (Matt); brother, Larry Pasour (Nancy); grandchildren, Kelsey Queen (Ben), Tyler Medlock (Emily), Clay Medlock, Cori Phillips, Carli Phillips, Will Phillips; great-grandchildren, Reagan Queen, Parker Queen, Cole Queen, Hayes Medlock and Beau Medlock.
