Jimmy Lee Hamrick

Jimmy Lee Hamrick, 51, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.  Jimmy was born May 13, 1970, in Gaston County and was the son of Diane Hamrick Dameron and the late Jimmy Lee David.

Jimmy loved his family, friends and coworkers, he always had a smile and loved to make people laugh. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, video gaming and camping.  Jimmy received his degree of theology from the  New Life Bible College as an ordained minister of the gospel.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clyde Hamrick.

In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory are his wife of twenty-four years, Michelle Hamrick; daughter, Samantha Nicole Hamrick; grandmothers, Frances Hamrick and Estelle David; brothers, Curtis David, Clifford David, and Billy Dellinger; sisters, Shawn Stephanie Penwarden, Kim Dellinger, Michelle Dellinger, and Latasha Dellinger; a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service 1503 S York Rd. Gastonia, with Pastor Dennis Gomez, officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
