Jimmy David Faulkner

Jimmy David Faulkner, age 81, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather whose spirit touched the lives of many. A dedicated technician in the HVAC industry, Jimmy demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout his life, but it was his caring nature, deep love for God, and commitment to family that defined him.

Born on September 18, 1944, Jimmy was the son of Champion Altan and Eula Mae Goins Faulkner. He was preceded in death by his parents and his cherished brother, Dwain Roger Faulkner. Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife, Laura Faulkner; his loving daughter, Donna Messer; and his stepsons, Keith and Cameron Maples. He was also a proud grandfather to his granddaughters, McKenzie and Sydney Messer, who brought him immeasurable joy.

To honor Jimmy's life and legacy, family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Crowders Creek ARP Church on June 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, where we will come together to remember and celebrate the life of this remarkable man.
