Jimmy "Ray" Black, 72, of Gastonia, passed away March 9, 2017 at his residence.
He was born May 8, 1944, a native of Gaston County, son of the late Arie M. Black and Ezalee Reagan Black. Survived by his wife, Janice Short Black, their children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brother, sister, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
