Jewell Chambers Lyon, 73, passed away July 1, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 13, 1944 in York, SC, the daughter of the late George Edward Chambers and Elsie McSwain Chambers.
Jewell attended Church of God of Prophecy in Clover, SC.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Lyon; brother, J.D. Williams(Fumie) of Texas; niece and former sister-in-law and the Reverend Olivene Martin.
A graveside service, officiated by the Reverend Olivene Martin, will be held 12:30 pm, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Armstrong Cemetery, Osceola Street, Gastonia, NC.
Visitation will be held 11am – 12pm at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Memorials may be made to Church of God of Prophecy, 106 Hilltop Lane, Clover, SC 29710.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
