Jesse Lee McClure, 35, of Gastonia, NC, passed away March 29, 2022.

He was born July 25, 1986, in Gaston Co, NC, son of Roger Odell McClure and the late Debra Kay Brommer McClure.

Jesse was a loving son, husband, father, and pet father. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains, being outdoors, and was a great friend.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott McClure; and grandparents, Jesse Zachery McClure, Jr., Ollie McClure, and Grace Brommer.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife and friend of 18 years, Kristal Whitson; son, Jesse Zachery McClure, III; brother, Jack Costner; niece, Daphne McClure; aunts, Lane Padgett, and Melinda Heavner; favorite cuz, Robert Phelps; and numerous cousins.

A graveside service officiated by Rev. Tim Parker, will be held 2pm on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery - 251 Olney Church Rd, Gastonia, NC 28056 .

Family will receive friends 12-1:30pm on Saturday, April 2, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
