Jerry Waldrop

Jerry Waldrop, 53, of Gastonia passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

A Gaston County native, he was born June 12, 1969, to the late RC & Chris Waldrop.

Jerry was a member of Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church in Gastonia. He always had a smile. He always looked for the brighter days and wanted the best for his loved ones. He cherished family. He was very generous.

He is survived by his brothers, Warren Bess and wife Melissa, Ray Waldrop; sister, Leona Moore; nephews, Jordan Bess, Shane Moore, Jason Moore, Travis Moore; many great nieces and nephews.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28056.
