Jerry Dwayne Starnes, 72, passed away February 5, 2018 at his brother's home.

He was born March 16, 1945 in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late Reilus Starnes and Allie Ramsey Starnes.

Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Sue Starnes; step-son Dean Sutton; daughter Tamela Starnes; step-daughter Tracy Sutton; brother John Starnes and wife Mary; sisters Sue Windham and husband Bill, Brenda Ferrell and Joyce Sanders and numerous step-grandchildren.
