Jerry Lee Rhyne

Jerry Lee Rhyne, 79, of Dallas, passed away February 14, 2022, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

He was born April 4, 1942, in Gaston County, NC to the late Glen Garrison and Mary Ann Russell Rhyne.

Jerry was a member of the North Gaston Church of God, Dallas, NC.  He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He retired from Freightliner after 25 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Rhyne; and brothers, Monroe and Bob Rhyne.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Pamela Hacker (John) and Sherry Sparks (Chris); sister, Margaret "Connie" Haney (Bobby); grandchildren, Tommy Lee Brown (Miranda), Michael Brown (Chae), Travis Brown (Essence), Jessica Black (Dustin), and Derrian Cooper (Chyna); and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Zaiden, Mason, Grayson, Maddox and Damon Brown; Joyce, Jerry, and Axel Black.

A service to celebrate the life of Jerry, officiated by Revs. Andy Nicholson, Ted Smith and Bobby Haney, will be held Monday, February 21, 2022, at 2:00 pm at the North Gaston Church of God, 1310 Dallas-Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
