Jerry Wayne Peterson

Jerry Wayne Peterson, 58, of Charlotte, NC, passed away, April 20, 2021 at Carolina's Medical Center, Charlotte.

He was born January 23, 1963 in Cherokee, Co, SC, to the late Carl Peterson and Alice Marie Weant Quinn.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his step-father, Paul; special aunt, Nettie; grandparents, Essie and Clyde, and W.L. and Agnes; uncles, Damon, Bobby and Glenn Jr.; cousins, Jimmy, Dwayne, Diane and Debbie; others, Gloria, Dorine, Kenneth, James and Tommy; and four-legged beloved friend, Tiny.

Jerry is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole Ann and Amir; loving grandchildren, Jaylin Nicole and Preston Wayne; adopted sister, Tine Marie; sister, Debra Lynn; half-sister, Lisa Annette; special aunt, Betty; uncle, Buddy; close cousins family, Veronica and Gary; all cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends and distant family; and lots of four legged furry friends.

A memorial service will be at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Upper Room Tabernacle in Gastonia, NC.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
