Jerry G. Freeman

Jerry G. Freeman, 68, of Bessemer City, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at his home. He was born June 29, 1945 in Gaston County, son of the late William Daniel Freeman and Hyacinth Whitesides Freeman. Mr. Freeman was retired from the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market after 20 years of service. A graveside and interment service will be held 3:00p.m. Thursday at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas, officiated by the Reverends Leroy Mobley and Roy Spivey. The family will receive friends after the service on Thursday at the cemetery. Mr. Freeman is survived by: his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret Wiggins Freeman; son , Mark Dean Freeman and wife Jessica of Bessemer City; brother, Bill Freeman and wife Lois of Crouse; sisters, Carolyn Pleasant and husband Raymond of Bessemer City, Brenda Faye Free, Joyce Wiggins and husband Ronnie , all of Dallas; grandchildren, Zoie and Javaline Freeman, In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: daughter, Tammy Freeman; four brothers.
