Jerry Ray Clemmer

January 6, 1941 — May 4, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Ray Clemmer, who left us on May 4, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on January 6, 1941, in North Carolina, Jerry lived a full and vibrant life in Dallas, NC, where he touched the hearts of many.

Jerry was a hardworking laborer in the commercial construction industry, known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he was a passionate fan of the Carolina Tarheels, proudly supporting his team through thick and thin. His love for the land was evident in his joy of farming, and he often found solace in quiet moments fishing on the water. A lover of adventure and mystery, Jerry could always be found diving into a good mystery book, escaping into the thrilling worlds within those pages. He had a great love for animals, especially his parrot he cared for more than 26 years.

Jerry will be remembered fondly by his family and friends as "Cousy", especially his nephew, Steve Clemmer; cousins, Jill McGlohon, Judy Garrett, Mitchell Eaker, Steven Eaker, and other cousins; best friends, Ivy Campbell, Barry Lockman and Viktoriya Rhyne; who carries forward his legacy.
