Jeremy Jackson Bonham

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jeremy Jackson Bonham, who left us on July 18, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on November 12, 1985, in North Carolina, Jeremy lived a life dedicated to service, first as a proud member of the Army from August 22, 2006, until his discharge on January 8, 2010, where he was in special operations as a Path Finder and recieved many medals including, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Combat Infantryman Badge. Following his time in the military, he became a federal prison guard, where he continued to serve his community with dignity.

Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Laura O. Bonham, father, Jerry Bonham, son, Caleb Bonham, stepdaughter, Daniela Osorio, brothers, Jonathan Bonham, and Alexander Bonham, sister-in-law, Carolina Osorio and husband Jimmy Calvo, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gustavo and Consuelo Osorio, uncle, Timothy Gadd and wife Mary, aunt, Lynne Gadd, cousins, Tyler Gadd and wife Ashley, and their children Greys and Hartley, Case Gadd and wife Julia, and their children Waylon and Kennedy. He will be deeply missed - not just by his family but by all who had the opportunity to know him. His kind spirit and commitment to service will live on in the hearts of many.

In honor of Jeremy's life, a memorial service will be held on July 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The service will take place at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel, located at 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Bonham, and grandparents, Gerald Bonham, and Doris Bonham.
