Jenes "Bull" Gary Brymer

Jenes "Bull" Gary Brymer, 70, of Gastonia passed away April 20, 2013 at his home. He was born January 21, 1943 in Gaston County, son of the late Earl William and Letha "Jenkins" Brymer. A celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Thursday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Pastor Junior Morris. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia with Masonic Rites provided by King Solomon Masonic Lodge # 704 and Fireman's burial rites by the City of Gastonia Fire Deparment. He was a good husband, loved his children and his very special grandson. He worked 30 years for the Gastonia City Fire Department, serving as a Captain before his retirement. He was a member of the King Solomon Masonic Lodge #704. His hobbies included: spending time with his family, bird watching, woodworking and gardening. The family wishes to express gratitude for the kind and compassionate care during his illness to the Gaston Hospice and the City of Gastonia Fire Department. He was survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Nancy Brymer; sons, Roger Brymer and spouse Kim of Gastonia, Gary Brymer of Gastonia; brothers, Louie Brymer and spouse Elizabeth of Gastonia, Clayton Brymer of Gastonia; grandchild, Jenes Jordan Brymer. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris St. Greenville, SC 29605. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
