Jeffrey Scott Wilson

On August 24, 2025, Jeffrey Scott Wilson went home to be with the Lord at the age of 66, leaving behind memories and stories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew him. Born on August 15, 1959, in Gaston County, NC, Jeffrey spent his life as a truck driver, navigating long hauls across the open roads, often sharing tales of his adventures on the way.

Jeffrey was a man of many talents; he had a knack for tinkering and was known as a great mechanic. He loved to spend his free time fishing, finding peace and happiness by the water. Whether he was working on his truck or casting a line into his favorite fishing hole, he truly embraced life with a smile. He also loved the Lord Jesus Christ and talked about Him much.

He is survived by his father, Ronald Wilson; sons, JR Cochran (Angel), Derek Wilson (Ashley Shifflett); grandchildren, Sienna and Sydney Wilson, Mackenzie Cochran; brother, Dennis Wilson; cousins, Chuck Wilson (Lynn), Reggie Wilson; numerous first and second cousins, nieces and nephews all who will forever carry the fond memories of their time together.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Wilson; mother, Peggy Wilson; brother, Ronald Dewey Wilson II.

A celebration of Jeffrey's life will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the donors choice.

Jeffrey may no longer be with us, but his spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Jeffrey. You will be missed.
