Jeffrey Lewis Bridges

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Jeffrey "Jeff" Bridges, who left us peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 61.

Born on April 29, 1964, in Gastonia, NC, Jeffrey spent his life surrounded by the beauty of the ocean and a passion for fishing that brought him immense joy.

Jeffrey was a proud machinist in the tool manufacturing industry and held a high school diploma.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, and is survived by his father, Lewis Bridges, and stepmother, Paula Bridges. He also leaves behind his sister, Gaye Cook (John), along with several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews who cherished him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Frady Bridges, who will forever hold a special place in his heart.

Family and friends will gather to honor Jeffrey's life on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, located at 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and everyone is welcome to come and share their memories and pay their respects.
