Jeffery Wayne Nicholson, known to friends and family as Jeff, passed away on July 22, 2024, due to natural causes at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born on August 23, 1960, in Gaston County, North Carolina, Jeff lived a fulfilling life as a Vice President in the industrial insulation industry for Guy M. Beaty, Inc. Jeffery loved to play music and was very talented playing several instruments. He sang and played through the years with many gospel music groups.

He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Melissa Law (Brian); sons, John Loftis (Kylie) and Isaac Nicholson; grandchildren, Drake Loftis, Nadia, Jace and Roman Law; sisters, Christi Gibby (John), Ami Phillips and Tami Metz (Rev. Dave); life long friend, Sherri Nicholson; step-father, Bill Froneberger.

A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at Bessemer City Church of God on Saturday, July 27, 2024. The visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am.

In honor of Jeff's memory, his final resting place will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, NC. Join us in remembering and celebrating his life as we say our final goodbyes to a cherished father, colleague, and friend.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Beavers Froneberger and Richard Nicholson.
