Jeff Welch

Jeff Welch, 51, of Dallas, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born April 29, 1969, in Gaston County, son of the late Roger Dale Welch and Virginia Dean Howard Welch.

Jeff loved his family and enjoyed fishing, sports, and coaching his grandchildren ages 4-7.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of over 33 years, Kim Wall Welch; daughters, Ashley Welch and fiancé, Matthew Glisson, Abby Welch and fiancé, Justin Griggs; sister, Lori Leonhardt and husband, Alan; grandchildren, Brody Glisson, Mataley Glisson, Halle Beaver, Nixon Griggs; nephew, Wesley Leonhardt and wife, Jesse; and great nephew and niece, Holden and Marley Leonhardt.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm on Friday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia. Pastor Wendell Davis will be officiating.
