Jeff Shore

Jeff Shore, 49, of Charlotte, passed away August 21, 2015, at Novant Health Medical Center, Matthews. He was born June 2, 1966, in Miami, FL son of the late Marilyn Turner Shore. Jeff attended Mt. Harmony Baptist Church of Matthews. He was the coach of the Carolina Rangers and the Nation Ford Junior Varsity Baseball Team. He played for the Texas Rangers and UNCC 49ers. Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by grandparents, Clyde and Jessie Turner. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 21 years, Robin Faulkner Shore; daughter, Ashlyn Shore; brother, Chris Shore and wife Cassandra; niece and nephew, Amanda and Ryan; father-in-law, Howard Faulkner. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Buddy Pigg. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 32861, Charlotte, NC 28232. Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
