Jeannine Jackson Rogers Davis

Jeannine Jackson Rogers Davis, 83, of Gastonia, went to be with the Lord, February 12, 2015 at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville. She was born July 3, 1931 a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late Mildred and William McCoy Jackson. Jeannine was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She is survived by her son, Jack Rogers and wife, Betty; daughter, Billie Gaddy and husband, Tim; grandchildren, Lesley Ireland, Sarah Gaddy, Jessica Johnson and husband, L.J., Jay Rogers and wife, Michelle; great-grandchildren, Wynn, Logan, Justin, Jacob, Judah, Zion and Zeke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rogers and sister, Pam Simmons. A service of remembrance will be held 3 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., officiated by the Rev. L.J. Johnson. The receiving of family and friends will be held 2 - 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice - 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
