Jeanine Gala Lingerfeldt

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanine Gala Lingerfeldt, who was born on April 25, 1952, in Polk County, Iowa and peacefully left us on November 1, 2026, at her home in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Jeanine was a loving mother to her three children, Kris Lingerfeldt, Lindsay McClelland (Shawn), John Lingerfeldt (Elisha), and a proud grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, Michael, Kadynce McClelland, Mackenzie McClelland, and Kendall McClelland; sister Jennel Burns (Timothy).

Jeanine was preceded in death by husband, John Lingerfeldt Sr; parents, John and Iola Baumgardner.

Jeanine was not just a remarkable mom; she was also a talented seamstress and an avid painter, often losing herself in her creative endeavors. Whether she was stitching together a beautiful garment or immersing herself in her latest artistic masterpiece, her passion shone through in everything she did. She had a soft spot for her beloved fur baby, Jay Jay, who was always by her side, bringing her joy and companionship. She loved to play cards, especially with her sister and friends. Often playing while on a zoom call to never miss an opportunity.

A devoted businesswoman, Jeanine owned and operated her own herbal products retail shop " Better Health Naturally", where her enthusiasm for health and wellness impacted the lives of many in her community.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 2250 Davis Park Road Gastonia, NC, where family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and share cherished memories.

Jeanine will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and her genuine kindness. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed.
