Jean Hill Shelton

Jean Hill Shelton, 74, of Cherryville, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Carolina Care Hospice, Newton.

She was born March 14, 1950, in Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late Thelma Hill.

Jean was a member of Independent Baptist Tabernacle, Dallas, NC. She loved music, dance, and the beach.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Aubrey Shelton, Jr.; brother, Timothy Hill; and grandchild, Timothy Cook.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Jeannette Maskell (Chuck), and Tabatha Worley (Shawn); brother, Michael Hill (Vickie); sisters, Claudette Robertson (David), Sandra Rushing (Gary), and Jane Moulton; grandchild, William Thompson, Jr. (Josh Morgan), Zachary Thompson, Devan Cook, Kristina Cook, Payton Rogers, and Timothy Worley; and great-grandchildren, Ksea Graham, Abel Mulwee, Destiney Cook, June Crawford Thompson, and Odin Woods Thompson.
