Jean Bryant

Jean Bryant, 86, of Bessemer City, passed away on December 11, 2020, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born August 15, 1934, Gilchrist County, Fl, daughter of the late Moses Ephraim Brock and Ruby Mae Brock.

Approximately in 1976 Jean moved up to Gastonia with her daughter, Melanie and her son, Gary Lee.

She was a faithful member of The Tabernacle of God, under the late Bill Podaras and Gospel Assembly of Kings Mountain and was presently a member of Christian Fellowship Assembly in Dallas, under Pastor Paul Brintley.

She retired from Danaher Tool Group after many years of service.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Paul Brintley.

Jean will lie in state from 9-12 Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of over 34 years (within 13 days of their 35 ^th anniversary), Gary Bryant; children, Melanie J. Kos (Tom), Gary L. Crosby (Donna), Judy E. Bason; brother, Paul Brock, (Etsie); sister-in-law, Annette Brock; brother-in-law, Calvin Rogers; grandchildren, Phillip Kos, Thomas Kos, Andrew Kos, Jacob Crosby, Dana Crosby, Eli Crosby, Flo Jean Bason, Juanita Bason, Joey Baker, Kayla Nicole White; daughter-in-law, Carmella;numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Fons Carl Crosby; granddaughter, Cara Crosby; siblings and their spouses, Margie Rogers, Clara Bell Watson, (Irvin), Hazel Jerrells, (Jasper), Charles Franklin Brock Sr., Beatrice Mell, (Gail), Pauline Brock, Cedrick Brock, Junior Brock.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent to Christian Fellowship Assembly, 2352 Dallas Cherryville Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
