Jean Hughes Avery, 81, of Dallas, passed away on April 6, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 29, 1935, in Laurens County, SC, daughter of the late Henry and Dovie Norwood Hughes.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.
The graveside service will be private.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
