JC White, 92, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

He was born August 3, 1930, a native of Gaston Co, NC, son of the late Dee White, Sr. and Lonia Phillips.

JC loved his family, and he loved sending cards out on special occasions to family and friends throughout the year. He also loved watching golf and NASCAR.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Macie McSwain White; infant son, Kevin White; and brothers, Dee White, Jr., and Charles White.

JC is survived by his sons, Jerry White (Glenda), Steve White, and Greg White (Carla Sowells); daughters, Debbie Horne (David), Marlene Higgins, and Pam Harris (Jimmy); sisters, Betty Parsons (Gary), and Lillie Smith; grandchildren, Deanna Revels, Alicia Revels, Melissa Bolin (Chad), Mandy White, Michael Lynch, Justin Harris, Annie Christopher (David), Kyler White, and Courtney Overton (Aaron); great-grandchildren, Eric, Devlin, Kadance, Keaton, Kaylee, Kayla, Madison, Gabriel, Channing, Toriauna, Darrin, Josh, Wednesday, Kutter, and Avery; and great-great-grandchildren, Cash, and Jace.

Family will receive friends 11:30-12:30pm, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A graveside service officiated by Pastor Roger Overton, will be held 1pm, on Thursday, at Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.

Pallbearers will be:  Channing White, Eric Thompson, Josh Lynch, Kyler White, Larry Barker, Michael Lynch.
