J.B. Jenkins

J.B. Jenkins, 48, of Gastonia, passed away June 23, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A Cleveland County native, he was born December 18, 1972, son of James Jenkins and the late Edith Short Jenkins.

J.B. loved and adored his children.

He was an avid Clemson fan and a huge NCIS fan.

He enjoyed football and golf, and loved to cook.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Angel Lawson.

Left to cherish his memories, in addition to his father, are his son, Gabriel Baxter Jenkins; daughter, Madeline Zoe Jenkins; sisters, Starr Wray and husband David, Betsy Mullis and husband Buddy; brother, Jimmy Jenkins; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Danielle Kathleen Renken.

A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Jonathan Williams, will be held 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 27 at Cherokee Farms Lodge, 937 Stallion Spirit Trail, Clover, SC 29710.

The family will receive friends at the lodge after the service.
