Jason Shawn Jenkins, 47, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at his residence.
A native of Mecklenburg County, he was born on August 8, 1976, to Lynda Jenkins and the late Lanny Jenkins.
Jason is survived by his son, Logan Jenkins; mother, Lynda Jenkins; paternal grandmother, Ruby Hartness Jenkins; brother, Ronnie Jenkins and wife Beth; sister, Angel Byrd and husband Tony; nephews and nieces, Dustin Jenkins, Kensley Myers, Shelby Downey, Ella Grace Jenkins.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his uncle, Danny E. Turner; maternal grandparents, Everest and Ella Turner; paternal grandfather, Lee C. Jenkins Jr.
A memorial service officiated by Elder Matt Singleton will be held, Saturday, May 11, 2024, 12:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 10, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.
