Janice Kay Campbell

Janice Kay Campbell, 70, of Cherryville, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at her residence.

A native of Gaston County, Janice was born on February 2, 1951, to the late J. S. Elrod and Bertie King Elrod.

Janice  was an avid gardener and she loved to watch old western movies. Janice adored her grandchildren with all of her heart and enjoyed every second she got to spend with them.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Curtis Campbell and brother, Ronnie Elrod.

Left to cherish Janice's memories are her son, Steven Fore (Debbie); brothers, Lamar Elrod and Bobby Elrod; and grandchildren, Christopher and Taylor Fore.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd., Gastonia, NC, 28052.
