Janette Carson Pastula

Janette Carson Pastula, 71, of Gastonia, NC, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at her residence.

She was born September 21, 1950, in Waynesville, NC, daughter of the late Paul Edgar and Eva Irene Cope Carson.

Janette was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Clover, SC. She loved her family, the Lord, and crossword puzzles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Carson; sister, Peggy Carson; grandchild, Timothy Gyier.

Janette is survived by her husband, Jim Hines; sons, Shane and Susan Pastula, Rodney and Lori Davis, and Tommy and Melissa Pastula; daughters, Dawn and Tony Grant, Crystal and Steve Humphries, and Rhonda Long; brother, Keith and Pat Carson; 16 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service officiated by Pastors Eddie Carson, and Donald Mitchelson, will be held 4pm, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at First Free Will Baptist Church – 307 Valley Ave., Clover, SC 29710.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
