Janette Gantt Lail

Janette Gantt Lail, 81, of Kings Mountain, passed away on November 30, 2017, at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.
She was born January 7, 1936, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Thomas Houston Gantt and Ruby Mauney Gantt.
Mrs. Lail was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved her family deeply and was devoted to all of them.
The family would like to thank everyone at White Oak Manor and Hospice of Cleveland County for their caring and compassionate care they provided to Mrs. Lail.
A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, December 3, 2017, at Independent Baptist Tabernacle, 2128 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy., officiated by Rev. Brian Spargo and Rev. Cecil Spry.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia.
Interment will be in the Independent Baptist  Tabernacle  cemetery.
Mrs. Lail is survived by her loving husband, Jim Lail; sons, Ronnie Whetstine and wife Susan, Roger Whetstine and wife Judi, Billy Whetstine and wife Becky, Freddy Gladden and wife Pamela, Steve Lail, Dennis Gladden and wife Brenda; daughter, Christy McDaris; brothers, J.L. Gantt and wife Dorothy, Johnny Gantt and wife Ruth ; sister, Nancy Smith and husband Jim; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Lail Gates.
Memorials may be sent to Independent Baptist Tabernacle 2128 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy., Dallas, NC 28034 or Hospice of Cleveland County 951 Wendover Heights Drive Shelby, NC 28150.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
