Janell Tilley Thorn

Janell "Peanut" Tilley Thorn, 75, of Gastonia, passed away August 12,2022.

She was born September 10, 1946, to the late Luther Tilley and Nicie Cochran.

Janell was a member of Lowell Church of God. She was a cook for many years in the food service industry. She loved dirt track racing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Thorn Jr., daughter, Patsy Gibson, two grandsons, Eddie Garrett, and Matt Whitley, ten brothers and five sisters.

Janell is survived by her son, Hoyt Edward "Cowboy" Thorn and girlfriend Carol Rikard, daughters, Jan Whitley, and Shelby tucker and husband Jeff, six grandchildren, Bubba Whitley, Josh Kirkland, JJ Tucker, Lee Thorn, Brian Thorn, Matt Whitley, John Whitley and niece, Toni Garrett.

All services are private.
