Jane Hulick Henson

Gastonia, NC - Jane Hulick Henson, 76, of Gastonia passed away October 23, 2014 at Carolina's Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1938 in Cleveland County, daughter of the late William "Bub" and Mary Hulick. Jane was a retired teacher for Gaston and Cleveland County Schools. A memorial service will be held 6 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Jane is survived by her husband, Thomas Eugene Henson, Sr.; sons, Tom Henson, Jr. and fiancé, Jennifer Griggs of Darlington, SC and Dr. Kirklen Henson and wife, Montse of Hopewell Junction, NY; daughter, Kyle Merrill and husband, Frank of Gastonia; grandchildren, Kris Lang, Danielle Merrill, Meghan, Sarah, Anna, Emma and Andres Henson and 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium.
