Jamie "Red" Williams

A loving father , grandfather, and friend , 49ers fan, a King. Red, 53, of Cabarrus, NC passed away peacefully in his home October 17, 2025.

He was born January 4, 1972. A family man who did everything in his power to provide and protect his family .

He is survived by his daughters Janiya Mayfield (Rich) of Stockbridge, GA; Brianna Williams of Baltimore, MD; sons Malaki Mayfield (Sonya) of Myrtle Beach, SC; Damario Williams (Viola) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and Cayden Williams who resided in the home with him in Gastonia, NC ; his grandchildren Kahloni Mayfield, Cheylynn Mayfield , and Nova Williams , and his 1st grandson.

A man of many accomplishments but his main one was being the ultimate father. The smartest, most humble, considerate man ever. Full of personality and tough love. His voice, words and wisdom will always live in our hearts but he will be missed more than words can explain.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm at his residence, Saturday, October 25, 2025.
