James Edward Yarborough, Jr.

James Edward Yarborough Jr., 62 of Gastonia, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 26 2023 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born and raised in Fairfield County, South Carolina, on March 18, 1960, son of the late James and Cassandra Yarborough.

James was a caring and wonderful father. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren with all his heart. He was a hard man to love but he is even harder to forget. He will be missed by many. He is at rest now with no more suffering.

He was survived by his wife, Janette Yarborough of Gastonia; and his sister, Lucy Yarborough of Winnsboro, SC. Also left to cherish his memories are his children, Sandra Yarborough, Misty Richardson, Jennifer Stillwell, Ej Joy, Justin Joy, Laura Joy Holder, Christina Lewis, and Benjamin Joy; along with all 21 of his grandchildren.
