James William Meadows

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James William Meadows, who went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on March 20, 1958, in Crossville, TN, James spent most of his life making a home in Grover, NC.

James was a beloved husband of 34 years to Regena Meadows. He is also survived by his sons: William Chad Meadows and James Stephen Meadows (Jessica) and his daughters; Angela Isenhour (Jimmy), Mandee Swafford, Rhonda McGinnis, and Tammy Walker, his brothers; Larry Meadows, Doug Meadows, and Luke Meadows, 15 grandchildren; Matthew Isenhour (Renota), Lindsie Rutherford (Eric), Jacob Isenhour, William Crabtree, India Franklin, Logan, Emma, and Peyton Goodson, Amber, Bailey, Kaitlyn, and Maisley Meadows, Jerry Dills, Devin Sumner, and Megan Martin, and great-grandchildren; Aiden and Chloe Rutherford, Blakleigh, Micah, and Levi Goodson, and Jaxon Bowman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Wilma Meadows, his brothers; John Meadows and Walter Meadows, and his grandson; Justin Isenhour.

He was a cherished friend to all who knew him. Known for his generosity and kindness, he had a heart of gold and would drop everything to help anyone in need. He left this world with no enemies-just countless friends.

James owned and operated a residential construction company, where he took great pride in his work. His skills and dedication spoke volumes.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

He will be remembered and honored in the hearts of all who knew him.
