James Henry Treadway

James Henry Treadway, 77, of Dallas, passed away March 31, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 3, 1938, in Swain County, the son of the late William and Eva Treadaway.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons Henry and Steven Treadway; daughter Cora "Christine" Treadway; step-son Toby Andrews; step-daughter Sonja Robbins; grandchildren Shannon, Kristi, Stephanie, Amy and Tina; 16 great-grandchildren; brother Wayne Treadway and sister Ruth Burke.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Janice Treadway.

A memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Kevin Treadway, will be held 3 pm Sunday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
