He was born September 12, 1949 in Gaston County, son of James Luther Todd and the late Ella Marie Chastain Todd. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service- West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052, officiated by Rev. Mike Criswell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. Mr. Todd was a loving father, grandfather, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and was an avid UNC Tarheel fan. He is survived by: his father; first wife and mother of his children, Gail Addis; sons, Lee Todd and spouse Heather of Midlothian, VA; Chris Todd and spouse Dana of Gastonia; grandchildren, Kieran, Marissa, Brody, Jacob, and Victoria Todd; second wife, Tammy Inman; step daughters, Stephanie Wheeler, Heather Inman; step granddaughter, Brittany Wheeler; good friend, Ron Moss. Mr. Todd is preceded in death by: his mother. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 111 S. Church St., Suite 336 M, Charlotte, NC 28202.
