James "Billy" Teague

James "Billy" Teague, 71, of Dallas passed away February 20, 2014. He was born March 22, 1942 in Gaston County son of the late Joseph and Johnnie Lunsford Teague. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia officiated by Rev. Cliff Wall and Pastor Scott Whitener. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Sunday night at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City. He attended Gateway Cowboy Church of Shelby and Puett United Methodist Church, Dallas. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandfather, and was loved by all. Mr. Teague is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Ledford Teague; son, James Michael Teague; daughter, Carmen White and husband Steve; mother in law, Betty Ledford; brother, Lloyd Teague; grandchildren, Dustin and Dylan White, Payton Teague; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: his brothers, JD, Allen, and Richard Teague; father in law, Lonnie Ledford. Memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O.
